The Furrion 100W Kickstand Solar Panel is a portable, monocrystalline solar solution designed for off-grid use. This manual covers the setup, battery type configuration, and maintenance required to keep the panel operating efficiently.
Safety Precautions
- Do not use near open flammable sources.
- Do not sit on or hang items from the product.
- Do not set up on elevated surfaces (roofs, tables) or ladders.
- Do not set up on uneven surfaces or in standing water.
- Do not place wiring in travel paths (walking or vehicle areas).
- Do not place the panel in shaded areas (RV, trees, etc.).
- Only use as intended; modifications will void the warranty.
Setup and Operation
The solar panel is ready to use out of the box. To set it up:
- Unfold the panel.
- Ensure the panel has stable footing on a flat, even surface.
- Lock the folding legs in position using the turn knob.
- Plug the panel into your Furrion RV solar inlet, Furrion PowerStation, or Furrion eRove electric cooler.
Battery Type Selection
To select the correct battery type for the charge controller:
- Press the button for 3 seconds. The LED will begin to flash, indicating the mode can be changed.
- Press the button to cycle the LED number from 1 to 4.
- When the desired battery type number appears, wait until the LED stops flashing or press the button again for 3 seconds to complete the setting.
Battery Types:
- 1: Sealed lead-acid batteries
- 2: GEL lead-acid batteries
- 3: Flooded lead-acid batteries
- 4: Lithium iron phosphate batteries
Handling and Routine Maintenance
- Always carry the product by the lifting handle.
- Always protect the glass surface when handling or storing.
- Always keep the glass clean to maximize efficiency.
- Always check wiring and connector quality.
- Clean using only warm soapy water and a clean cloth. Never use acidic solutions.
