The MITRA 110S RF is a wireless digital room thermostat utilizing TPI (Time Proportional Integral) technology for energy-efficient heating control. Before installation, ensure the boiler is powered off. The system requires a receiver to be wired to the boiler and a thermostat unit to be placed in a frequently used room, at least 150 cm above the floor. Avoid placing the thermostat near heat sources, windows, or in areas with poor air circulation.
Product Description
The system consists of a Room Thermostat and a Receiver. The thermostat sends signals to the receiver to control the boiler based on the TPI algorithm, which predicts temperature changes to maintain a stable environment and reduce energy consumption.
Installation and Setup
Battery Placement: Open the front cover of the Room Thermostat using a screwdriver to bend the tabs. Insert 2 new AAA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Replace batteries simultaneously.

Receiver Placement: The receiver must be installed at least 50 cm away from the boiler. Avoid mounting on metal surfaces or near electrical cables, computers, or large metal structures. The signal range is approximately 20 meters or 2 floors.
Wiring the Receiver
Warning: Electrical installation must be performed by qualified professionals.

- Shut down the boiler and its power source (fuse/socket).
- Connect one end of the boiler connection cable to the COM terminal and the other to the NO input of the Receiver.
- Connect the other ends of the cable to the room thermostat connection terminal on your boiler.
- Connect the Receiver power cable to the Receiver and then to the power source.
- Turn on the fuse and the boiler after completing connections.
Pairing the Thermostat
- Press and hold the Receiver's pairing button for 2 seconds until the LED blinks green.
- Turn the Room Thermostat button to the pairing symbol.
- The thermostat LED will blink 3 times.
- If successful, the green LED on the Receiver will remain steadily lit.
TPI Working Logic
The TPI algorithm predicts when the temperature will rise above or fall below the set point. It adjusts the heating unit's operation accordingly to prevent large temperature fluctuations, providing higher comfort and energy savings compared to standard On/Off thermostats.
Troubleshooting and LED Indicators
Receiver LED Status:
- Steady Red: Power on, but not paired.
- Blinking Green: Waiting for pairing signal.
- Steady Green: Paired and boiler is not operating.
- Steady Orange: Boiler is operating.
- Blinking Orange: Boiler operating in manual mode.
- Blinking Red: Signal lost (no signal for 22+ minutes).
Maintenance
If the product is not used for more than 15 days, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and potential warranty voiding. Keep the device away from liquids and dust.
Practical help
Common problems
The receiver has not received a signal from the thermostat for 22 minutes or longer. Check the thermostat batteries and signal range.
Ensure the receiver is paired correctly (Steady Green or Steady Orange LED). Check wiring connections to COM and NO terminals.
Ensure the receiver is in pairing mode (blinking green) before turning the thermostat knob to the pairing symbol.
Before use
- Ensure boiler power is completely shut off before wiring.
- Insert 2x AAA alkaline batteries into the thermostat.
- Mount the thermostat 150 cm above the floor.
- Keep the receiver at least 50 cm away from the boiler.
- Avoid mounting the receiver on metal surfaces or near electrical cables.
