  • Attach the guard: Remove screws from the trimmer head, place the guard, align screw holes, and tighten the screws. Do not touch the cut-off blade.
  • Assemble the shaft: Loosen the knob on the coupler, push the release button on the lower shaft, align it with the positioning hole, slide the shafts together, and tighten the knob.
  • Attach the auxiliary handle: Press the handle onto the upper shaft, slide it over the metal ring, align the holes, and tighten with the knob.
  • Install the battery: Align the ribs on the battery pack with the grooves in the battery compartment and push until it clicks into place.

Operation

Starting and Stopping: Push the lock-out button and pull the trigger to start. Release the trigger to stop.

Adjusting the cutting line: The machine features an auto-feed head. If the line does not advance automatically, release the trigger, wait two seconds, and push the trigger again. For manual adjustment, stop the machine, remove the battery, push the spool retainer button, and pull the cutting line.

  • Cleaning: Clean the machine after use with a moist cloth and neutral detergent. Keep air vents free of debris. Do not spray water on the motor.
  • Replace the spool: Push the tabs on the sides of the trimmer head, remove the cover, remove the old spool, and insert the new one. Ensure the line is in the slot before installing.
  • Replace the cutting line: Cut two pieces of 0.065" (1.65 mm) nylon line approximately 3m long. Bend one end, insert into anchor holes, and wind tightly in the indicated direction.

Troubleshooting

If the machine does not start, check the battery connection and charge level. If the machine stops while cutting, it may be overloaded or grass may be wound around the shaft; remove the battery and clear the obstruction. If the line breaks frequently, ensure you are cutting with the tip of the line and avoiding hard objects like stones or walls.
