This document provides installation and usage instructions for the Hansgrohe RainSelect series. Before installation, inspect the product for transport damage. Ensure that pipes and fixtures are installed, flushed, and tested according to applicable standards. Installation dimensions are ideal for individuals approximately 1800 mm tall but can be adjusted if necessary.

Safety instructions

• Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
• Balance large pressure differences between cold and hot water supplies.
• The product is exclusively designed for drinking water.

Installation

Install the body with the G 3/4 outlet pointing downwards. The basic set can be mounted in different ways depending on the building application, such as direct wall installation or on a carrier system. Ensure the wall is reinforced in the designated area. Important: The gasket is not suitable for hot glue.

Installation steps

1. Inspect the product for transport damage before installation.
2. Install the body with the G 3/4 outlet pointing downwards.
3. Flush the pipes thoroughly before final connection.
4. For UK installations: If using a pump, it must have negative head switching; this product will not function with a positive head pump.

Maintenance and cleaning

Do not use silicone containing acetic acid. Refer to the spare parts list for maintenance components. Thermal disinfection is possible at 70°C for 4 minutes.
