The HiKOKI DS 10DAL is a cordless driver drill designed for driving and removing machine screws, wood screws, and tapping screws, as well as drilling into various metals and woods. Before using the tool, ensure the battery is fully charged using the UC10SL2 charger.

Charging

Connect the charger's power cord to a receptacle. Insert the battery firmly into the charger until it touches the bottom. The pilot lamp will indicate the charging status:

  • Before charging: Blinks (0.5s on, 0.5s off).
  • While charging: Lights continuously.
  • Charging complete: Blinks (0.5s on, 0.5s off).

  • Charging impossible: Flickers (0.1s on, 0.1s off).

Operation

The tool features adjustable torque and two speed settings. Ensure the switch is in the off position before changing speeds with the shift knob. When mounting a bit, tighten the keyless chuck sleeve adequately to prevent the bit from slipping.
