The HiKOKI UB 18DC is a cordless work light designed for illuminating work sites. It features adjustable brightness (700-4000 lm), a USB charging port, and is IP65 rated for dust and water resistance. Always ensure the battery is fully charged before use and that the battery cover and rubber USB cover are closed to maintain the IP65 rating.
Description of the device
The work light consists of an LED light source, an adjustable head for angle changes, a battery mount, and a control panel. It includes a battery level indicator and a USB port for charging external devices.

Battery and Charging
Use only designated HiKOKI batteries (BSL18 Series). To charge, connect the charger to a power source, insert the battery firmly, and wait for the pilot lamp to indicate charging status. Caution: If the battery is hot from use or direct sunlight, let it cool before charging.

Operation

- Switching On: Use the switch on the unit. The light will blink twice when reaching maximum or minimum brightness.
- Angle Adjustment: The head can be adjusted to different angles.
- Mounting: The unit can be mounted on a wall or secured to a tripod using the 5/8-UNC screw hole.
USB Device Charging
The work light can charge USB devices. Note: USB output stops automatically if the battery level is low. Always back up data on your USB device before connecting.

Maintenance and Inspection
Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure they are tight. Keep the battery terminals free of dust and debris. Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth or a cloth moistened with soapy water. Do not use solvents like gasoline or paint thinner.
Safety
Read all safety warnings before use. Do not use in explosive atmospheres, wet/damp places, or in the rain. Do not look directly into the light. Keep the light at least 20 cm away from illuminated objects. Always remove the battery when not in use or during maintenance.
