The HiKOKI CJ 160V and CJ 160VA are high-power jigsaws designed for cutting various materials, including wood, mild steel, aluminum, copper, and synthetic resins. The tool features two operating modes: Standard Mode (800-2800 min-1) and AUTO Mode, which automatically adjusts speed based on workload to reduce vibration and noise.

Mounting and Operation

The tool supports various operations, including changing blades, adjusting blade operating speed, switch operation, using the LED light, adjusting orbital operation, and mounting the guide. Always ensure the base plate is attached to the workpiece while sawing to prevent blade dislodging or damage.

Selection of Blades

To ensure maximum efficiency, select the appropriate blade based on the material type and thickness. Refer to the provided blade selection table for the correct blade number (e.g., No. 41, No. 42, No. 123X).

Maintenance and Inspection

Regularly inspect the blade for dullness or damage and replace it if necessary. Inspect all mounting screws to ensure they are properly tightened. The motor unit winding is the heart of the tool; ensure it does not become damaged or wet. Carbon brush inspection and replacement should only be performed by a HiKOKI Authorized Service Center.
