The Hilti SL 2-A12 and SL 2-A22 are professional cordless LED work lights designed for jobsite illumination. Before use, ensure the battery is charged and the contacts are clean. Insert the battery until it clicks, pivot the head to the desired angle, and use the 3-mode switch to adjust brightness.

Product Overview

The device features a multi-position hinge, LED light source, retractable hook, and a 3-mode switch for brightness control. The SL 2-A12 uses B 12 series batteries, while the SL 2-A22 uses B 22 series batteries.

Operation

Inserting the battery: Ensure contacts are clean and free of debris. Insert the battery until it engages with an audible double click.

Pivoting the head: Pull out the retractable hook if needed, then pivot the head to the desired position. Do not force the head past the end stops.

Switching on: Press the 3-mode switch to cycle through brightness settings (Max, Medium, Off).

Maintenance

Remove the battery before any maintenance. Clean the casing with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use silicone-based cleaning agents. Clean air vents with a dry brush.

Troubleshooting

• Battery does not engage: Clean the retaining lugs on the battery.
• Device does not work (1 LED flashes): Battery is discharged (charge it) or battery is too hot/cold (allow to reach room temperature).
