Safety instructions

  • Class M Vacuum: Suitable for picking up dry, non-flammable dusts, wood chips, and mineral dusts containing quartz with exposure limit values ≥0.1 mg/m³.
  • Hazardous Materials: Do not pick up asbestos or other hazardous substances not specified.
  • Liquids: Do not pick up flammable or aggressive liquids (gasoline, solvents, acids, etc.). Do not pick up liquids over 60°C.

Fitting dust bags

  1. Open the two catches and lift the top section.
  2. For wood chips: Push the cardboard flange of the paper dust bag into the plastic adapter and engage in the container.
  3. For mineral dust: Fit the plastic dust bag into the container.
  4. Replace the top section and close the catches.

Operation

Mains-powered: Plug into a grounded outlet and turn the control switch to ON. For power tools, use the built-in power outlet and set the switch to AUTO.

Battery-powered: Insert one or two 36V batteries. Turn the switch to ON. The built-in power outlet for tools is not available in battery mode.

Hose diameter setting (UM models): Ensure the selector switch matches the diameter of the hose being used to maintain correct M-function warning thresholds.

Care and maintenance

The appliance features an automatic filter cleaning system. Do not use compressed air or hard objects to clean the filter manually. Replace the filter at least every 6 months.

Changing the filter

  1. Disconnect from power and remove batteries.
  2. Open filter cover clips and remove the filter cover.
  3. Remove the filter element carefully.
  4. Clean the sealing surface, fit the new filter, and reassemble.
