Product description
This appliance is a universal industrial vacuum cleaner with an automatic filter cleaning system. It is designed for wet and dry applications. It can also function as a charging station for Hilti Li-ion batteries (14V/22V/36V) when connected to mains power. When equipped with optional accessories (adapter plate and pushbar), it can serve as a transport trolley for Hilti toolboxes.

Safety instructions
- Class M Vacuum: Suitable for picking up dry, non-flammable dusts, wood chips, and mineral dusts containing quartz with exposure limit values ≥0.1 mg/m³.
- Hazardous Materials: Do not pick up asbestos or other hazardous substances not specified.
- Liquids: Do not pick up flammable or aggressive liquids (gasoline, solvents, acids, etc.). Do not pick up liquids over 60°C.
- PPE: Always wear appropriate protective equipment, including respiratory protection, when handling hazardous dust.
- Transport: Do not transport by crane. Empty the container before carrying.
Setup and installation
Before operating, ensure the vacuum is on a stable surface and castor brakes are engaged. Connect the suction hose to the hose socket.





Fitting dust bags
- Open the two catches and lift the top section.
- For wood chips: Push the cardboard flange of the paper dust bag into the plastic adapter and engage in the container.
- For mineral dust: Fit the plastic dust bag into the container.
- Replace the top section and close the catches.
Operation
Mains-powered: Plug into a grounded outlet and turn the control switch to ON. For power tools, use the built-in power outlet and set the switch to AUTO.
Battery-powered: Insert one or two 36V batteries. Turn the switch to ON. The built-in power outlet for tools is not available in battery mode.
Hose diameter setting (UM models): Ensure the selector switch matches the diameter of the hose being used to maintain correct M-function warning thresholds.
Care and maintenance
The appliance features an automatic filter cleaning system. Do not use compressed air or hard objects to clean the filter manually. Replace the filter at least every 6 months.
Changing the filter
- Disconnect from power and remove batteries.
- Open filter cover clips and remove the filter cover.
- Remove the filter element carefully.
- Clean the sealing surface, fit the new filter, and reassemble.
Troubleshooting
If the warning tone sounds, the dust bag may be full or the filter clogged. Check the hose for blockages. If the motor does not start, check the circuit breaker or if the container is full. For battery issues, ensure the battery is charged and correctly inserted.
