First Time Use

Usage Tips

• Place the unit on a level surface, ensuring it is not in contact with walls, corners, or curtains.
• Plug the unit into a power outlet; the red power light will turn on.
• Turn the temperature knob to MAX; the green ready light will turn on, indicating the appliance is heating up.
• Allow the appliance to pre-heat until the green ready light turns off, indicating the correct cooking temperature has been reached.
• The green light will cycle on and off during cooking, showing that the appliance is maintaining the temperature.

Flat Open Grill Mode

The grill can be opened to create one large cooking surface:

1. Locate the hinge release lever on the right arm of the unit.
2. Hold the handle with your left hand and use your right hand to slide the lever toward you.
3. Push the handle back until the cover rests flat on the counter.
4. The unit will remain in this position until you lift the handle and cover to return it to the closed position.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Always turn off the power and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
