This document provides essential instructions for the IMMAX ZOOM 12W/5V LED magnifying table lamp. It covers assembly, power requirements, and operation. Please note that the light source is irreplaceable and the device is intended for indoor use only.
Assembly and preparation
The lamp offers flexible positioning with a multi-jointed arm. It can be used in two ways:
- Desktop base: Insert the lamp arm into the base. The base includes a storage area for small items.
- Table clamp: Attach the clamp to a straight edge of the table, ensure it is securely fastened, then insert the lamp arm and tighten the locking screw.
Important stability note: When using the desktop base, the maximum bending angle of the lamp arm is 90°. Exceeding this angle may cause the lamp to become unstable.
Operation and settings
Connect the USB cable to a power source (computer, laptop, or power bank). Use the touch control buttons on the lamp body or the push-button controller on the cable to operate the lamp:
- ON/OFF: Short press to turn the lamp on or off.
- Brightness: Use the dedicated buttons on the controller to increase or decrease brightness (5 stages).
- Color temperature: Adjust between 3000K and 6000K (5 color modes).
Safety and maintenance
Safety warning: The magnifying lens focuses sunlight. Never place the lamp near a window where it may receive direct sunlight, as this can ignite flammable objects. Never look directly at the sun or bright light sources through the magnifier.
Cleaning: Wipe the surface only with a dry, soft cotton cloth. Do not use any cleaning agents.
Power supply requirements
For optimal performance, use a power source with at least 5000 mAh capacity. Using a power bank with lower capacity may cause the lamp to switch off randomly.

Lamp switches off randomly
Ensure you are using a power source (e.g., power bank) with a capacity of at least 5000 mAh.
Lamp is unstable
When using the desktop base, do not bend the lamp arm beyond a 90° angle.
Before use
- Ensure the table clamp is properly secured to the table edge if not using the base.
- Verify the USB power source provides sufficient power (5V/2A recommended).
- Check that the lamp is placed away from direct sunlight to prevent fire hazards.
- Ensure the locking screws are tightened after adjusting the arm position.
