The Instant 20-Cup Multigrain Rice Cooker + Steamer is designed for versatile cooking. Before first use, unpack the unit, remove all packaging and accessories, and clean the interior and accessories. Ensure the unit is placed on a stable, level surface with at least 13 cm of clearance for airflow. Plug the unit into an electric outlet to begin.

Initial setup
Clean before use: Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Wash accessories with hot water and dish soap or in the top rack of a dishwasher. Dry all parts thoroughly.
Placement: Place on a stable, non-combustible surface. Ensure 13 cm of space above and around the appliance.
Using the lid
Push the lid down lightly until it clicks into place. To open, press the button on top of the lid. The Inner Lid Cover is removable for cleaning; ensure it is properly installed before cooking. During cooking, steam condenses in the base channel; clean this after use.
Smart Programmes
Select programmes using the Menu Select button and press Start. Most programmes allow for Delay Start and have Keep Warm enabled by default.

- White/Brown Rice: Automatically adjusts cooking times.
- CarbReduce: Uses special technology to reduce carbohydrates and sugar. Use the measure marks in the basket.

Keep Warm turns on automatically after most programmes. To reheat, place food in the pot, press Keep Warm, select temperature (Low/High), and press Start.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug and let the unit cool before cleaning. Wash accessories in hot water and mild dish soap. Do not use harsh detergents or scouring pads. Wipe the cooker base and condensation rim with a barely-damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
If you experience issues like difficulty closing the lid, steam leaks, or a blank display, check the inner lid cover installation, power connection, or circuit breaker. For error codes E1-E4, contact Customer Care.
