Installation

Before installing the enclosure, consider the following safety and placement guidelines:

  • Mounting Location: Choose a location that does not interfere with cargo, fold-down rear seats, or the trunk lid. A corner of the trunk or cargo area is typically the best location.
  • Clearance Check: Always check both sides of the planned mounting surface to ensure that screws or wires will not puncture brake lines, fuel lines, or wiring harnesses.
  • Preparation: Use a utility knife to remove unwanted fabric or vinyl before drilling or cutting holes to prevent material from snagging.
  • Environment: Do not mount the speakers in locations where they will get wet.
  • Security: Ensure the enclosure is securely mounted to the mounting surface.

Speaker connections

Connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the enclosure to the amplifier's speaker outputs. Observe proper polarity to ensure correct sound reproduction. Use at least 0.5mm² (20 AWG) speaker wire for these connections.
