Product Overview

The LeoVince LV-10 Carbon slip-on exhaust (Art. 15248C) is a high-performance upgrade specifically engineered for the Aprilia RSV4 1100/Factory and Aprilia Tuono V4 1100/Factory. This system is designed to provide a significant weight reduction compared to the original stock exhaust, weighing only 1.63 kg, which contributes to improved vehicle handling and performance.

Safety Precautions

Before beginning any installation work, ensure that the motorcycle's engine and exhaust system have cooled down completely. Working on a hot exhaust can cause severe burns and damage heat-sensitive components such as fairings, hoses, or rubber sleeves.

Installation Instructions

Technical assembly diagram
Technical assembly diagram
  • Preparation: Remove the complete fairing if necessary. Dismantle the original silencer and remove the two valve actuation cables as shown in the provided photos.
  • Servomotor: Remove the two fixing screws and rotate the servomotor 180 degrees to access the non-visible side. Disconnect the connector, remove the two cables permanently from the frame, reconnect the connector, and reassemble the servomotor.
  • Assembly: Check the mating surfaces for cleanliness. Slide the link pipe onto the original header, ensuring the graphite bushing (if supplied) is correctly positioned. Partially tighten the securing strap.
  • Silencer Mounting: Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Align the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet, then secure the parts using the provided springs.
  • Finalizing: Install the clamps, spacers, washers, and support brackets as indicated in the technical drawing. Tighten all nuts and bolts securely.
  • Testing: Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Check for any gas leaks.

Maintenance and Care

Regularly inspect all brackets and fasteners, as they may be affected by vibration and heat during use. Periodically check and replace sound-deadening material, seals, and other rubber components. For cleaning, use gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; never use aggressive solvents. Note that some discoloration of the carbon fiber silencer is normal due to heat and material properties and is not considered a defect.

Important Notes

During the first 100 km of use, the exhaust system will undergo a break-in period, during which minor gas leakage may occur. It is mandatory to check and re-tighten all fasteners after the first 100 km. Any modification or tampering with the exhaust system is strictly prohibited and will void the warranty. Professional installation is highly recommended.
