Table of contents

Product Overview

The LeoVince LV Corsa slip-on exhaust is a high-performance upgrade designed specifically for the Kawasaki Z 400 and Ninja 400. Available in Black, Carbon Fiber, and Titanium finishes, this system is engineered to enhance the motorcycle's performance while maintaining standard factory settings.

Safety Precautions

Before beginning any work, ensure the motorcycle's engine and exhaust system have cooled completely to prevent burns and damage to heat-sensitive components such as fairings, hoses, or rubber parts. We strongly recommend that the installation be performed by a qualified professional.

Installation Instructions

  • Remove the original OE silencer.
  • Inspect the mating surfaces for cleanliness and good condition.
  • Slide the new link pipe onto the original header, ensuring the graphite bushing (if supplied) is correctly positioned to replace the original. Tighten the securing strap partially to allow for final adjustments.
  • Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Verify the alignment of the spring mounting eyes and the exhaust outlet, then secure the components using the provided springs.
  • Install the clamps, spacers, washers, and support brackets as shown in the technical diagrams. Secure all nuts and bolts firmly.
  • Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Check for any gas leaks and tighten all fasteners if necessary.

Maintenance and Care

Regularly inspect all brackets, fasteners, and components subject to wear, such as sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts. Replace these items periodically as needed. For cleaning, use gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use any solvents. Note that some discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties and is not considered a defect.

Important Notes

During the first few kilometers of use, the exhaust system will undergo a break-in period, which may result in slight gas leakage. It is mandatory to check and tighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km of riding. Any modification or tampering with the exhaust system is strictly prohibited and will void all warranties and responsibilities from the manufacturer.
