Safety and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure the engine and exhaust system have cooled completely to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components like fairings or hoses. The installation process involves removing the original silencer and mounting the LeoVince unit using the provided hardware. Ensure the graphite bushing is handled with care; if a new one is supplied, it must replace the original. After installation, start the engine and check for any gas leaks. It is normal for the exhaust to settle during the first 100 km of use, after which all fasteners should be checked and tightened.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for longevity. Periodically inspect all brackets, fasteners, and rubber components for signs of wear and replace them as necessary. The silencer can be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use any solvents. Note that some discoloration of the silencer is a normal result of heat and material properties during standard operation.
