Product Overview

The LeoVince LV-10 Carbon slip-on exhaust is a high-performance upgrade specifically engineered for the Kawasaki ZX-10 R / RR Ninja (Type: ZXT00S, ZXT02C, ZXT02E, ZXT02L). This system is designed to provide a significant weight reduction compared to the original stock exhaust, weighing only 1.27 kg. It is available in both low and high mount configurations to suit rider preference.

Safety Precautions

Before beginning any work on the exhaust system, ensure that the engine and the exhaust pipe have cooled down completely. This prevents the risk of burns to the operator and protects heat-sensitive components such as fairings, hoses, and rubber sleeves from damage.

Installation Instructions

  • Remove the original OE silencer.
  • Verify that the mating surfaces are clean and in good condition. Slide the link pipe onto the original header, taking care not to damage the graphite bushing if supplied. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for final adjustments.
  • Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet. Secure the parts together using the provided springs.
  • Install spacers, washers, and support brackets as indicated in the technical drawings. Tighten all nuts and bolts securely.
  • Tighten all clamps connecting the LeoVince link pipe to the original exhaust headers.
  • Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Check the entire system for any gas leaks.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance. Periodically check all brackets, fasteners, and connections, as these can be affected by vibration and heat. Inspect sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts, replacing them if signs of deterioration appear. The silencer can be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; never use solvents. Note that some discoloration of the carbon silencer is normal due to heat and material properties.

Important Notes

During the first few kilometers of use, the exhaust system will undergo a break-in period, which may result in minor gas leakage. It is mandatory to check and re-tighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km of riding. Any modification or tampering with the silencer is strictly prohibited and will void all manufacturer responsibilities regarding defects or malfunctions. We strongly recommend that the installation be performed by a qualified professional.
