Safety and Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure the motorcycle's exhaust system has completely cooled to prevent burns and damage to heat-sensitive components like fairings or hoses. The installation process involves removing the original silencer, cleaning the mating surfaces, and installing the LeoVince link pipe. Use the provided graphite bushing if included. Secure the silencer to the link pipe using the supplied springs, ensuring proper alignment of the exhaust outlet. Finally, mount the silencer using the provided clamp, spacers, and hardware as detailed in the technical drawings.

Maintenance and Care

Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance. Periodically inspect all brackets, fasteners, and rubber components for signs of wear and replace them as necessary. The silencer can be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use any solvents. Note that some discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties. After the first 100 km of use, it is critical to check and tighten all fasteners, as the exhaust system will settle during the initial break-in period.
