Product Overview

The LeoVince LV One EVO is a high-performance slip-on exhaust system specifically engineered for the KTM 690 Enduro R and 690 SMC R (including 35kW versions). This system is designed to improve performance while maintaining compliance with standard vehicle regulations.

Safety Precautions

Before beginning any work, ensure the exhaust system has completely cooled to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components such as fairings, hoses, or rubber sleeves. Always wear appropriate protective gear.

  • Remove the original silencer.
  • Loosen the cylinder head exhaust nuts and the Torx screw on the connection bracket between the frame and the pipe, without removing them completely.
  • Verify the condition of mating surfaces. Slide the new link pipe onto the original header, ensuring the graphite bushing is correctly positioned. Partially tighten the securing strap to allow for final adjustments.
  • Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe. Align the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet, then secure the parts using the provided springs.
  • Install the clamps, spacers, washers, and support brackets as indicated in the technical drawing, then fully tighten all nuts and bolts.
  • Start the engine and allow it to reach operating temperature. Check for any gas leaks.

Maintenance and Care

The exhaust system requires a break-in period during the first few kilometers, during which minor gas leakage may occur. After approximately 100 km, perform a thorough check of all fasteners and tighten them if necessary. Periodically inspect all connections, sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber components for wear and replace them as needed. Clean the silencer using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; never use solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is a normal result of heat and material properties.

Important Warnings

Any modification or tampering with the exhaust system is strictly prohibited. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for defects, malfunctions, or damages resulting from unauthorized modifications. Professional installation is highly recommended.
