Quick guide from the manual

This document provides the installation procedure for the LeoVince 15204T slip-on exhaust, designed for the Kawasaki Z900 and Z900 A2 (including 35kW and 70kW versions). It is strongly recommended that the installation be performed by a professional. Ensure the exhaust system has cooled down completely before beginning any work to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components.

Components list

Before starting, verify that all parts are present according to the component list. The kit typically includes the silencer, link pipe, and a fitting kit containing springs, brackets, spacers, and bolts.

  5. Slide the LeoVince silencer onto the link pipe.
  6. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet.
  7. Connect the parts together using the provided springs.
  8. Mount spacers, washers, and brackets as shown in the technical drawing and secure them by tightening all nuts and bolts.
  9. Tighten the clamps joining the link pipe to the OE exhaust headers.
  10. Start the engine, wait a few minutes until it reaches operating temperature, and check for any gas leaks.

Important notes and break-in

During the first kilometers of use, the exhaust system will undergo a break-in period. Slight gas leakage may occur during this time. It is mandatory to check and tighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km of riding.

Maintenance and cleaning

Periodically check all brackets and fasteners, as they may be affected by use. Inspect sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts, and replace them if necessary. The silencer can be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol. Do not use any solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is normal and results from heat and the nature of the materials used.

Safety warnings

Any modification or tampering with the exhaust silencer is strictly forbidden. The manufacturer declines all responsibility for defects, problems, or malfunctions arising from the use of any product that has been modified or tampered with.
