This manual provides instructions for installing the LeoVince 14364E full system exhaust on KTM 690 Enduro R and SMC R models. Before beginning, ensure the engine and exhaust system have cooled down completely to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components like fairings and hoses. The installation requires basic mechanical skills and tools for removing the original exhaust and mounting the new system.
Component list
The kit includes the muffler, link pipes, fitting kit, and heat shield. Refer to the technical drawing in the manual to identify all parts, including springs, gaskets, screws, and mounting plates, before starting the installation.
Installation steps

- Remove the fairings and the entire original exhaust system. Disconnect the Lambda probe.
- Insert the bushing into the cylinder seat. Fit the flange, inserting the sealing gasket if available. Partially tighten the two nuts on the mounting studs to allow for alignment.
- Fit the primary manifold into the bushing, check orientation, and secure it to the flanges using the supplied springs.
- Connect the Lambda probe to the LeoVince exhaust system by tightening the connection on the end manifold.
- Slide the silencer onto the final link pipe. Check the alignment of the mounting eyes for the springs and the exhaust outlet. Secure the parts together with the provided springs.
- Insert the final manifold into the primary manifold and secure it with the supplied springs. Attach the manifold support bracket to the motorcycle frame using the supplied screw.
- Mount spacers, washers, and brackets as shown in the technical drawing and tighten all nuts and bolts.
- Reinstall the original heat shield on the collector, ensuring clamps are not overtightened.
- Check all fasteners, start the engine, and allow it to reach operating temperature to verify there are no gas leaks.
- Ensure the manifolds do not interfere with engine parts like the radiator or fairings.
Maintenance and warnings
During the first kilometers of use, the exhaust system will settle, and slight gas leakage may occur. After approximately 100 km, check and tighten all fasteners. Periodically inspect brackets and fasteners for wear. The silencer can be cleaned using gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol; do not use solvents. Discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties. Any modification to the exhaust is strictly prohibited and voids the warranty.

Common problems
The exhaust system needs breaking-in. Check and tighten all fasteners after approximately 100 km.
This is normal due to heat and material properties; it is not a defect.
Before use
- Ensure the engine and exhaust system have cooled down completely.
- Verify all components listed in the manual are present.
- Have necessary tools ready for fairing removal and exhaust mounting.
Images and diagrams
