Quick guide from the manual

This document provides installation instructions for the LeoVince 14362E full exhaust system. Before starting, ensure the engine and original exhaust system have cooled down completely to prevent burns or damage to heat-sensitive components. It is recommended to have the installation performed by a professional. After the first 100 km of use, it is mandatory to check the tightness of all fasteners as the system settles.

List of components

The kit includes the following main parts:

  • Silenziatore (Muffler)
  • Collettore 1359 (Link pipe 1359)
  • Collettore 1273 (Link pipe 1273)
  • Kit minuteria (Fitting kit)

  1. Remove the entire original exhaust system and disconnect the Lambda probe.
  2. Fit the manifold into its seat on the cylinder, placing the flange correctly with the graphite gasket if provided. Do not fully tighten the two nuts on the mounting studs yet to allow for realignment.
  3. Insert the final manifold into the primary manifold and secure it with the supplied springs.
  4. Insert the silencer onto the final manifold, verify the orientation, and secure it with the remaining spring.
  5. Mount spacers, washers, and support brackets as shown in the technical drawing, then tighten all nuts and bolts.
  6. Connect the Lambda probe to the LeoVince exhaust system by tightening the connection to the designated point on the manifold.
  7. Start the engine, wait a few minutes until it reaches operating temperature, and check for any gas leaks.
  8. Ensure the manifolds do not interfere with any engine parts (radiator, base, fairings, etc.).

Maintenance

Periodically check all brackets and fasteners, as they may deteriorate with use. Replace sound-deadening material, seals, and rubber parts as needed. For cleaning the silencer, use gasoline, diesel oil, or alcohol. Do not use any solvents. Note that discoloration of the silencer is normal due to heat and material properties.

Common problems

Slight gas leakage during the first kilometers

This is normal as the exhaust system settles. Check the tightness of all bolts after approximately 100 km.

Discoloration of the silencer

This is a normal result of heat and the nature of the materials used.

Before use

  • Ensure the engine and exhaust surface are completely cool.
  • Verify all components listed in the manual are present.
  • Have the necessary tools ready for removal and installation.
  • Check that the vehicle is in good working condition.
