Common problems
Pump fails to start
Ensure the water level has reached the 'On' level (7-10 inches). Check that the float switch is not obstructed or stuck.
Pump fails to turn off
Ensure the water level has dropped below the 'Off' level (3-5 inches). Check for debris preventing the float switch from dropping.
Before use
- Verify the power supply is 115V, 60Hz.
- Ensure the discharge pipe is 1-1/2 inch FNPT.
- Confirm the sump basin is clear of large debris.
- Check that the float switch has sufficient clearance to operate without hitting the basin walls.
