This document provides instructions for installing the Minka Lavery 2001/2002-77-L vanity light. Important: Always shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker before beginning installation. The fixture is compatible with ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer switches.
Mounting the fixture

- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture.
- Unpack the new fixture and organize all parts.
- Loosen screws (D) to remove the mounting plate (A) from the fixture body (C).
- Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box using the provided mounting screws (B). Ensure the side marked "GND" faces out.
- Place the fixture body (C) over the mounting plate (A) and secure it with screws (D).
- Slide screws (E) through plastic gaskets (F) and the glass shade (G), then secure them on the heat sink (H).
Connecting the wires
Follow these wiring connections to ensure safety:

- Black or Smooth fixture wire: Connect to Black (Hot) house wire.
- White or Ribbed fixture wire: Connect to White (Neutral) house wire.
- Green or Bare Copper fixture wire: Connect to Green (Ground) house wire. If the junction box does not have a ground wire, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the provided green screw.
After connections are made, carefully tuck all wires inside the junction box.
