Warning: Always shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box before beginning any installation work. Failure to do so may result in electrical shock or injury.
Mounting the Fixture

- Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove the old fixture, including the existing mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clear area to ensure nothing is missing.
- Loosen the screws (D) to remove the mounting plate (A) from the fixture body (C).
- Position the mounting plate (A) on the wall and mark the location for two drywall anchors (I). Pre-drill the holes and insert the drywall anchors into the wall.
- Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) using the provided mounting screws (B). Important: The side of the mounting plate marked "GND" must face outward.
- Secure the mounting plate (A) to the wall by driving the woodscrews (J) through the holes into the drywall anchors (I).
Connecting the Wires
Follow the wiring diagram (Fig. 2) to ensure correct connections:

- Black (Hot) Wire: Connect the fixture's black or smooth wire to the house black wire.
- White (Neutral) Wire: Connect the fixture's white or ribbed wire to the house white wire.
- Ground Wire: If the junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture's ground wire to it. If not, connect the fixture's ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the provided green screw.
Ensure all wire connectors are secure and tuck the wires carefully inside the junction box.
Finishing the Installation
- Place the fixture body (C) over the mounting plate (A) and secure it using the screws (D).
- Slide the screws (E) through the plastic gaskets (F) and the glass shade (G), then secure them onto the heat sink (H).
- Return power to the circuit and test the fixture.
Compatibility and Notes
This fixture is dimmable using ELV and/or LED compatible wall dimmer switches. Note that the LED module should be provided by a specified supplier.
