Operation
Inserting the Battery: Slide the charged battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place.

Switching On: Push and hold the release switch, then push and hold the On/Off switch to start the tool.
Switching Off: Release both the release switch and the On/Off switch to turn off the hedge trimmer.
Cutting Techniques: Hold the hedge trimmer at an angle of 5°–10° to the hedge. Cut the hedge from bottom to top, sides first. Cut the top in an oscillating movement, advancing slowly.
Maintenance
Cleaning: Clean the cutter bar after each use by removing contamination and remains of blades. Place the hedge trimmer on its side and apply a thin film of oil to the cutter bar. Use environmentally friendly lubricants.
Storage: Always place the cutting device cover on the cutter bar when the tool is not in use. Store the battery and the appliance separately in a dry, frost-free place (10-25 °C). Charge the battery before storing it for winter.
