The VEVOR 20V Cordless Hedge Trimmer is designed for trimming hedges and shrubs. Before first use, ensure the battery is fully charged. Always operate the tool with both hands using the safety switches on the front and rear handles. Keep the work area clear of debris and bystanders. Lubricate the blades before and after each use for optimal performance.
Product overview
The hedge trimmer consists of a rear handle, front handle, safety guard, blade, battery pack, lock-off button, trigger switch, and a rotating handle button. A scabbard is provided to protect the blade during storage.

Safety information
- Eye Protection: Always wear safety glasses with side shields marked to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
- Two-Hand Operation: Always hold the trimmer with both hands. Never operate with one hand.
- Work Area: Keep children, bystanders, and pets at least 50 ft. away. Clear the area of cords, wires, and rocks before cutting.
- Wet Conditions: Do not expose the tool to rain or use in damp locations.
- Battery Safety: Do not incinerate, crush, or open battery packs. If a leak occurs, avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Operating instructions
Starting/Stopping: The unit features a two-hand safety system. To start, activate both the rear handle trigger switch and the front handle lock-off switch. To stop, release either switch.

Rotating Handle: The handle can be rotated 45° or 90° to the left or right for ergonomic cutting. To rotate, remove the battery, press the rotating handle button, turn the handle until it locks into the desired position, and release the button.
Cutting Tips: Use a wide sweeping action for new growth. For older, thicker growth, use a sawing movement. Do not force the tool through heavy shrubbery; if the blade jams, stop the motor and remove the battery before clearing the obstruction.
Maintenance and cleaning
Lubricating the Blade: For easier operation and longer blade life, lubricate the blade before and after each use. Remove the battery, lay the trimmer on a flat surface, and apply light-weight machine oil along the edge of the top blade.
Cleaning: Remove the battery and slide the scabbard over the blade. Clean the body with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use strong detergents or solvents. Use a small brush or vacuum to clear debris from the blade and motor housing.
Storage: Store indoors in a dry, locked place inaccessible to children. Always use the scabbard when storing or transporting.
