The Pedrollo MC-F series is designed for professional use in draining sewage, wastewater, sludge-mixed water, groundwater, and surface water. These pumps feature a robust cast iron construction and a two-channel impeller system. Important: For three-phase models, the warranty is valid only if the motor's built-in thermal protector is properly connected to the control panel.
Product Description
The MC-F series pumps are constructed from thick cast iron, offering exceptional abrasion resistance and longevity. The two-channel impeller allows for the transfer of suspended solids up to 50 mm or 65 mm, depending on the model. The pump includes a 10-meter power cable. Single-phase models come with a float switch and a compatible switchbox.

Applications
These pumps are suitable for various settings, including:
- Apartment buildings
- Public facilities
- Industrial sites
- Parking facilities
- Washing areas
Installation
The pump can be installed using a coupling foot kit for easier maintenance and removal. When using guide tubes for installation, ensure the following:

- For 3/4" guide pipes, a support must be interposed every 2 meters.
- For 2" guide tubes, a support is recommended every 3 meters.
Ensure the pump is installed at a depth below the water level not exceeding 10 meters, using an appropriately sized power cable.
Electrical Connections
The series is available in single-phase (230 V) and three-phase (400 V) versions. Single-phase models include a switchboard with a capacitor and manual reset motor protection. Three-phase models require an external control panel (such as the QES panel) to connect the thermal motor protection.
Technical Data
The pumps are rated for liquid temperatures up to +40 °C. Minimum immersion depth for continuous service is 320 mm for MC/50 models and 360 mm for MC/65 models. The motor features Class F insulation and an IP X8 protection rating.
Maintenance
The pump utilizes a double mechanical seal system with an interposed oil chamber. The motor side seal (STA-22) uses Ceramic/Graphite/NBR, while the pump side seal (STA-20) uses Silicon carbide/Silicon carbide/NBR.
Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the motor's built-in thermal protector is properly connected to the control panel.
Install intermediate guide tube supports every 2 meters for 3/4" pipes or every 3 meters for 2" tubes.
Verify that the suspended solids do not exceed the maximum diameter for the specific model (50 mm for /50-F, 65 mm for /65-F).
Before use
- Verify the power supply voltage matches the pump specifications (230V single-phase or 400V three-phase).
- Ensure the thermal protection is connected for three-phase models.
- Check that the liquid temperature does not exceed +40 °C.
- Confirm the installation depth is within the 10-meter limit.
- Ensure the minimum immersion depth (320mm or 360mm) is maintained for continuous service.
