Quick guide from the manual
The RockBoard ISO Power Block 12 IEC is designed to power up to 12 effects pedals simultaneously. Before use, ensure your pedals have a polarity of (-) center / (+) outside. Always verify that the current draw of your pedals does not exceed the maximum output of the specific slot or the total output power of the unit. Use only the included 3-pole power cord to prevent damage.
Description
This device is a multi-power supply for effects pedals, featuring 12 isolated transformers and highly filtered DC power slots to prevent high-frequency noise and hum loops. It includes built-in short-circuit protection for each individual slot, with status LEDs to indicate correct operation.

Connection and Use
- Connect the included 3-pole power cord to the input socket of the ISO Power Block 12 IEC.
- Connect the power cord to a wall outlet rated for 100V-240V 50Hz/60Hz.
- Connect the included power cables to your effects pedals and the corresponding power slots on the ISO Power Block 12 IEC.
Power Slot Specifications
The unit provides the following power outputs:
- 4 x 9V DC (isolated): max. output 250 mA each.
- 4 x 9V DC (isolated): max. output 500 mA each.
- 4 x Switchable slots (isolated): Adjustable to 9V DC, 12V DC, 15V DC, or 18V DC. Max output: 500 mA at 9V, 375 mA at 12V, 300 mA at 15V, 250 mA at 18V.
- 1 x USB 5V: max output 2A.
Important Safety Notes
This product is a Class I device. Ensure the ambient temperature is below 25°C. If a short circuit occurs, the individual slot protection will activate, and the status LED will indicate the issue, allowing you to identify the problem without losing power to the remaining pedals.
Technical Specifications
- Input voltage: 100V - 240V 50Hz/60Hz 1.25A MAX.
- Total output power: 30.6 W.
- Dimensions (L x W x H): 195 x 88 x 35 mm.
- Weight: 608 g / 1.34 lbs.
Practical help
Common problems
The device uses advanced filtering and isolation to prevent this. Ensure all pedals are connected to the correct isolated slots and that you are using the included power cables.
Check the status LED for the specific slot. If the LED is off, check for a short circuit in the pedal or cable, or ensure the pedal is not exceeding the maximum current output of that slot.
Before use
- Verify your effects pedals have a polarity of (-) center / (+) outside.
- Ensure the total current draw of your pedals does not exceed the maximum output of the slots.
- Check that the input voltage of your region matches the 100V-240V range.
- Use only the included 3-pole power cord or one with identical specifications.
Specs in practice
