This manual covers four distinct Ryobi 18V products. Always read the safety instructions before operating any of these tools. Ensure you are using the correct battery pack and charger as specified in the tool's individual section. Always wear ANSI Z87.1 compliant eye protection with side shields.
18V Brushless Power Head (PBLPH01)
The power head is designed to operate various attachments. To assemble, align the attachment shaft with the power head coupler, push in the button, and slide the shafts together until the button locks into the positioning hole. Tighten the knob securely. To start, select HI or LOW speed, move the lock-out into the switch trigger slot, and depress the trigger.

Straight Shaft Trimmer Attachment (PBLSS01)
This attachment features an adjustable cutting diameter (13 in. to 15 in.). To install the grass deflector, remove the bolt, align the tab on the mounting bracket, and secure it with the bolt. To advance the line, tap the bump knob on the ground while the motor is running at full speed.

18V Blower (PBLLB01)
The blower features a variable speed trigger and cruise control. To install the blower tube, press it onto the housing outlet until the latch locks onto the tab. To engage cruise control, depress the trigger to the desired speed and push the cruise control lever down.

18V Brushless Grass Shear/Shrubber (PBLSH01)
This tool comes with two blades: a 4 in. grass shear blade and an 8 in. shrubber blade. To change blades, depress the release buttons and slide the blade off. Install the new blade by sliding it onto the bar stud until it clicks. Always use the blade cover when the tool is not in use.

General Maintenance
For all tools, remove the battery pack before cleaning or maintenance. Clean the tools with a dry cloth. Do not use strong detergents or solvents, as they can damage plastic housings. Store tools in a dry, secure place inaccessible to children.
