Quick guide from the manual
The Sanela SLSN 01E is an automatic stainless steel shower panel designed for cold or premixed water. Key operational requirements include a 24V DC power supply and water pressure between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa. The unit features an infrared sensor for automatic activation, adjustable delay, and a safety shut-off function. Parameters such as flush duration and hygienic flush intervals can be configured using the SLD 03 remote control.
Product description
The SLSN 01E is a wall-mounted shower panel. It includes an integrated infrared sensor, a solenoid valve, and a flow regulator. The unit is constructed from stainless steel and is intended for indoor use. It requires a constant 24V DC power supply to function correctly.
Installation
Before installation, ensure the water supply is turned off and the area is prepared according to the technical drawing. The water inlet is G 1/2".
- Drill holes according to the dimensions provided in the technical drawing (8 mm diameter).
- Install the mounting bracket using the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Mount the shower panel onto the bracket.
- Connect the water supply to the inlet.
- Flush the water supply line before final connection to remove debris.
- Ensure the sieve (mesh size ≤ 90 µm) is clean and installed correctly.
Electrical connection
Important: The unit must be connected to a constant 24V DC power supply. Do not connect the power supply unit behind a light switch or any other switch that could interrupt the power, as this will cause the unit to malfunction.
- Connect the brown wire to the positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the white wire to the negative (-) terminal.
- Ensure all connections are secure and insulated.
Operation and settings
The shower activates automatically when a user enters the sensor range (0.3 - 0.7 m). The following parameters can be adjusted using the SLD 03 remote control:
- Shower activation delay: 0 - 15 seconds (Factory setting: 2 s).
- Time safety shut-off: 10 - 310 seconds (Factory setting: 300 s).
- Hygienic flush interval: OFF / 6 / 8 / 12 / 24 / 48 / 72 / 168 hours (Factory setting: OFF).
- Hygienic flush duration: 5 - 1200 seconds (Factory setting: 5 s).
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure proper operation. If the water flow is insufficient, check the flow regulator. To replace the regulator:
- Shut off the water supply.
- Remove the shower head/regulator assembly.
- Replace the regulator (part 10 or 11).
- Reassemble and test for leaks.

Practical help
Common problems
Check if the 24V DC power supply is active and connected correctly. Ensure the sensor is not blocked and the user is within the 0.3 - 0.7 m range.
Check the water pressure (must be 0.1 - 0.6 MPa) and inspect the sieve for debris. If the issue persists, replace the flow regulator.
Ensure the power supply is connected to a constant voltage source and not behind a light switch.
Before use
- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure a constant 24V DC power supply is available.
- Confirm the power supply is not connected to a light switch circuit.
- Check that the sieve is clean (mesh size ≤ 90 µm).
- Ensure the SLD 03 remote control is available for parameter configuration.
Specs in practice
- Hygienic Flush
- Automatic water flow at set intervals to prevent legionella bacteria growth.
- Safety Shut-off
- Automatic water shut-off after a set time to prevent flooding.
Model compatibility
- Requires SLD 03 remote control for changing settings.
- Compatible with SLZ series external power supplies.
- Compatible with SLT series thermostatic valves.
