Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential maintenance and cleaning instructions for Sanela SLKA 01W sanitary cabins. Proper care is required to maintain the surface integrity of DTDL panels and stainless steel hardware. Note that cabins with DTDL wall panels are not designed for high-humidity environments; keep surfaces dry at all times.
Cleaning DTDL wall panels
The DTDL panels (18 and 25 mm thickness) should be cleaned using paper towels, soft textile cloths (dry or damp), or a sponge. If cleaned with a damp cloth, the surface must be dried immediately with an absorbent paper towel or microfiber cloth. Hot water, common household liquid cleaners, or curd soap may be used.
- Always use non-abrasive cleaning agents.
- After cleaning, wipe the surface with clean water to remove all detergent residue to prevent streaks.
- Dry the surface thoroughly after rinsing.
Cleaning stainless steel hardware
Use soft cloths or sponges for cleaning. For greasy surfaces, use soapy water or a mild detergent, ensuring all residue is removed afterward. For limescale, use diluted vinegar. Professional stainless steel cleaners that leave a protective silicone film may also be used.
Important: Some hardware components have a brushed finish; always wipe in the direction of the grain lines.
Prohibited cleaning methods
To prevent irreversible damage, do not use the following on any part of the cabin:
- Abrasive powders or scouring pads with a rough side
- Steel wool
- Polishing agents
- Furniture cleaners
- Bleaching agents
- Strong acids or acidic salts
- Steam cleaning devices
- Colored cleaning agents
- Chlorine-based products (strictly prohibited for stainless steel)
