Quick guide from the manual
The Sanela SLSN 01EB is an automatic stainless steel shower panel designed for cold or premixed water. Key operational parameters include a sensor range of 0.3 to 0.7 meters and a power supply of 6V (4x AA batteries). Factory settings include a 3-second flush duration and a 300-second safety shut-off. Regular maintenance involves checking the battery status and cleaning the water sieve.
Installation
Before installation, ensure the water supply is turned off and you have familiarized yourself with the safety instructions. The installation requires a wall-mounted setup.
- Preparation: Ensure the water inlet (G 1/2") is positioned according to the technical drawing (1210 mm from the floor).
- Mounting: Drill holes (8 mm diameter) for the mounting bracket. Secure the bracket to the wall using the provided screws and wall plugs.
- Water Connection: Connect the water supply to the valve. Flush the system to ensure no debris enters the panel.
- Electrical Connection: Connect the battery pack to the solenoid valve. Ensure the polarity (+/-) is correct.
- Final Assembly: Mount the shower panel onto the bracket and secure it with the provided screws.
- Adjustment: Once installed, the sensor range can be adjusted. The system performs an automatic adjustment upon startup.
Operation
The shower panel operates via an infrared sensor. When a user enters the detection zone (0.3 - 0.7 m), the water flow starts. The flow stops when the user leaves the zone or after the safety shut-off time is reached. The system can also be operated in a manual start/stop mode if configured.
Settings and Configuration
Parameters such as hygienic flush interval, flush duration, shower activation delay, and safety shut-off time can be modified using the SLD 03 remote control. The remote control allows for precise adjustment of the sensor sensitivity and timing functions.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is essential for optimal performance:
- Battery Replacement: When the battery capacity is low, the LED indicator will signal the need for replacement. Use 4x AA alkaline batteries (1.5V, 2700 mAh).
- Regulator Replacement: If water flow is restricted, the regulator may need to be replaced or cleaned.
- Cleaning: Keep the sensor window clean to ensure accurate detection.
- Sieve Maintenance: Ensure the water sieve (max 90 µm) is clean to prevent clogging.

Practical help
Common problems
Check if the user is within the 0.3 - 0.7 m detection range. Verify battery status; if the LED flashes, replace the batteries.
Check the water sieve for debris (must be ≤ 90 µm) and clean or replace the regulator if necessary.
The electronic system indicates low battery capacity via the LED. Replace all 4 AA batteries immediately when the 'Necessary' signal is shown.
Before use
- Ensure water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Verify that the water sieve (≤ 90 µm) is installed.
- Install 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries (1.5V, 2700 mAh).
- Ensure the installation surface is flat and suitable for the mounting bracket.
- Check that the water inlet is G 1/2".
Specs in practice
- Operating Pressure
- The system requires a water pressure between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa to function correctly.
- Sieve Dimension
- The water sieve mesh size must be 90 µm or smaller to protect the valve from debris.
- Sensor Range
- The infrared sensor detects users within a distance of 0.3 to 0.7 meters.
Model compatibility
- Compatible with SLD 03 universal remote control for sensor settings.
- Compatible with SLT 04 (3/4") and SLT 05 (1/2") thermostatic valves.
- Requires 4x AA alkaline batteries (1.5V, 2700 mAh).
