Quick guide from the manual
The Sanela SLS 01AK is an automatic shower control system designed for 24V DC operation. It features an infrared sensor for touchless activation. Crucial: The unit must be connected to a constant voltage power supply. Do not connect the power supply behind a light switch, as this will disrupt the sensor's functionality. The system is rated IP 53, provided it is mounted on a vertical, smooth, and non-porous wall and sealed correctly with silicone.
Installation
Before starting, ensure you have read the safety instructions. The installation process involves the following steps:

- Prepare the wall surface to be vertical, smooth, and non-porous.
- Install the mounting box into the wall.
- Ensure the water supply is filtered (sieve dimension ≤ 90 µm).
- Connect the water supply to the mounting box.
- Secure the stainless steel cover using the provided screws.
- Important: Seal the stainless steel cover with silicone sealant around the perimeter to maintain the IP 53 protection rating.
Wiring and Power Connection
The device requires a 24V DC power supply. Proper wiring is essential for operation:
- Connect the brown wire to the positive (+) terminal.
- Connect the white wire to the negative (-) terminal.
- Ensure the power supply is constant and not interrupted by external switches.
Operation and Settings
The shower control operates via an infrared sensor. You can adjust parameters such as the shower activation delay, time safety shut-off, and hygienic flush intervals. Configuration can be performed using the SANELA Control app (via Bluetooth) or the SLD 03 remote control.
- Automatic Adjustment: The sensor automatically adjusts to the environment upon power-up.
- Standard Operation: The shower activates when a user is detected within the sensor range.
- Safety Shut-off: Prevents continuous water flow if the sensor is blocked.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to ensure long-term reliability:
- Periodically check the silicone seal around the cover to ensure it remains intact and watertight.
- Clean the sensor window if necessary to maintain detection accuracy.
- If the unit is not functioning, verify the power supply connection and ensure the voltage is constant.

Practical help
Common problems
Verify that the unit is receiving a constant 24V DC power supply. Ensure it is not connected behind a light switch.
Ensure the stainless steel cover was sealed with silicone sealant during installation as per the instructions.
Adjust the sensor range using the SANELA Control app or the SLD 03 remote control.
Before use
- Ensure a constant 24V DC power supply is available.
- Verify the wall surface is vertical, smooth, and non-porous.
- Have silicone sealant ready for the final cover installation.
- Check that the water supply has a filter (sieve ≤ 90 µm).
- Confirm wiring polarity: brown (+), white (-).
Specs in practice
- Sieve dimension ≤ 90 µm
- The maximum recommended mesh size for water supply filters to prevent valve clogging.
