Quick guide from the manual
The Sanela SLZA series shower timers are designed for recessed installation and require a constant 24V DC power supply. Important: Do not connect the power supply unit behind a light switch, as the unit must remain under constant voltage for proper operation. Professional installation is required.
Product overview
The SLZA series includes four variants for controlling one to three showers:
- SLZA 01LMZ: User selects the shower, direct control.
- SLZA 01LNZ: User selects the shower, interactive control.
- SLZA 01MZ: Machine selects the shower, direct control.
- SLZA 01NZ: Machine selects the shower, interactive control.
Installation
The unit is designed for recessed mounting. Ensure the wall opening dimensions are prepared according to the technical specifications (225 x 360 mm). Follow these steps:
- Prepare the wall recess and ensure the power cable is routed to the installation site.
- Install the recessed box into the wall.
- Connect the power supply (24V DC) and the valve/button cables according to the specific wiring diagram for your model.
- Secure the unit into the recessed box.
- Ensure the keys are kept in a safe place, as identical keys cannot be ordered if lost or damaged.
Wiring and electrical connection
The system requires a 24V DC power supply. Wiring differs based on the model variant:
- SLZA 01LMZ / 01MZ: Connect valves and buttons according to the provided circuit diagram (13.a).
- SLZA 01LNZ / 01NZ: Connect valves and buttons according to the provided circuit diagram (13.b).
Always ensure the power supply is not switched off by external light switches.
Operation
Operation depends on the model:
- User selection models (LMZ/LNZ): The user selects the shower number, inserts payment (coin/token), and confirms by pressing the button.
- Machine selection models (MZ/NZ): The machine automatically selects the shower after payment is inserted and confirmed.
The "Occupied" indicator shows when a shower is in use.
