The Sanela SLS 02PTAB is a piezo-controlled shower system with a thermostatic mixer, operating on 6V. This manual covers the installation, electrical connection, and configuration of the device. Key operational parameters, such as automatic stop time and hygienic flush intervals, can be adjusted using the SLD 04 remote control.
Installation
Before installation, ensure you have read the safety instructions. The installation requires a water pressure between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa. A sieve with a mesh size of 90 µm or smaller must be used.

- Prepare the wall recess according to the dimensions provided (154 mm width, 161 mm height).
- Ensure the wall depth allows for the 0-6 mm clearance for tiling.
- Connect the hot and cold water supplies to the respective inlets.
- Secure the unit to the wall using the provided mounting brackets and screws.
- Complete the tiling around the unit, ensuring the control panel can be mounted flush.
Battery replacement
The system is powered by 4x AA alkaline batteries (1.5V). To replace them:

- Remove the control panel cover.
- Disconnect the battery pack from the control unit.
- Remove the old batteries and insert 4 new AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Reconnect the battery pack and reattach the cover.
Parameter settings
The SLD 04 remote control is required to adjust the following settings:

- Automatic stop: Adjustable from 10 to 310 seconds. Factory setting is 120 seconds.
- Hygienic flush interval: Can be set to OFF, 6, 8, 12, 24, 48, 72, or 168 hours.
- Hygienic flush duration: Adjustable from 5 to 1200 seconds. Factory setting is 5 seconds.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance is recommended to ensure proper operation. The system includes a battery status indicator. If the battery capacity is low, the system will provide an audible signal. When the capacity reaches 0%, battery replacement is necessary. Always shut off the water supply before performing any maintenance on the valve or mixer components.

Practical help
Common problems
Check battery capacity. If the system emits a signal, replace all 4 AA alkaline batteries immediately.
Verify that the water pressure is within the 0.1 - 0.6 MPa range and ensure the inlet sieve is clean and not clogged.
Before use
- Verify water pressure is between 0.1 and 0.6 MPa.
- Ensure the inlet sieve dimension is <= 90 µm.
- Check that 4 fresh AA alkaline batteries are installed.
- Confirm all electrical connections are secure.
- Ensure the wall recess is prepared according to the 154x161 mm dimensions.
