This document serves as a user guide for the Scangrip App, which allows for remote control and management of compatible Scangrip work lights. The app enables users to scan for lamps, group them for synchronized control, and adjust specific settings like brightness, color temperature (CCT), and curing time.
Settings
Access the settings menu to manage app preferences:

- Settings: Enable or disable low battery notifications and adjust the scan interval for new lamps.
- Consent: Review and update your consent for analytical and crash data collection.
- Web Site: Quick access to the official Scangrip website.
- Privacy Policy: View the app's privacy policy.

Scanning and connecting
To connect your lamps:

- Lamp status: Displays power status and whether a PIN lock is enabled.
- Select lamps: You can select up to 4 lamps by pressing their name or the yellow selection dot.
- Refresh/Scan: Press the update icon or swipe down to refresh the list of available lamps.
- Groups: Access the Groups screen by pressing "Groups" or swiping left.
Note: If no lamps are found on Android, ensure that location data (GPS) is enabled and the app has permission to access location.
Group function
The Group function allows you to control multiple lamps simultaneously:
- Units screen: Select lamps to group. Note that NOVA 10K, NOVA SPS, and NOVA CAS can be grouped together. AREA 10 SPS and AREA 10 CAS can also be grouped. Other models must be grouped with lamps from the same series.
- Create group: Press "Control" and select "Create group" to combine selected lights.
- Groups screen: View and manage existing groups. Press a group name or the yellow dot to select it for control.
Device control
Once a lamp or group is selected, you can adjust settings:

- Work lights: Use the brightness slider to adjust intensity. For models like MULTIMATCH, a CCT slider is available to change color temperature. For AREA models, use the 180°/360° buttons to toggle between directional and complete lighting.
- UV lamps: Use the curing time slider to set the duration. The app displays the remaining curing time and counts down during operation.
- General: You can rename lamps or groups within the app and manage PIN locks.
Safety
For UV-EXTREME series lamps, a specific safety screen is displayed. You must swipe the safety slider to the right to activate the lamp, ensuring that no unprotected personnel are present and that the minimum distance to combustible objects is respected.
