Product Overview
The Sealey 10L Dehumidifier (SDH102.V2) is a compact, portable unit designed to extract up to 10 liters of water per day. It is ideal for reducing excess moisture in indoor environments to prevent the buildup of mildew and mould. The unit features a digital control panel, LED display, and a 3-colour indicator to show relative humidity levels. It uses environmentally friendly R290 refrigerant and includes an adjustable 24-hour timer, auto-defrosting, and a water-full indicator.
Safety and Installation
Important: This appliance contains approximately 45g of R290 refrigerant gas. It must be installed, operated, and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 4m². Always ensure the unit is placed on a level, stable surface. Maintain a clearance of at least 30cm from the front, rear, and sides, and 50cm above the unit to ensure proper airflow. Do not operate the unit in temperatures below 5°C to prevent water from freezing. Always switch off and disconnect from the mains before moving or performing maintenance.
Operation
The unit offers several modes: Auto, Continuous Drying, and Sleep. In Auto mode, the fan and compressor adjust based on the target humidity. In Continuous mode, the unit runs constantly regardless of humidity levels. The Sleep mode dims the display and reduces fan speed for quiet operation. Users can set a timer from 0 to 24 hours. A child lock function is available to prevent accidental changes to settings.
Drainage and Maintenance
The unit features a 2L water collection tank with an auto-shut-off function when full. For continuous operation, a drain hose (not supplied, 9mm inner diameter) can be connected to the rear. The air filter should be cleaned at least every two weeks by washing it with water and allowing it to dry naturally. Do not use hot water, solvents, or heat to dry the filter. The casing can be cleaned with a damp cloth; avoid using abrasive detergents.

Common problems
Unit does not operate
Check if the power supply is connected, the water tank is full, or if the tank is fitted incorrectly.
Dehumidified volume is small
Clean the air filter, check for air intake/outlet obstructions, or ensure ambient temperature is above 5°C.
Humidity remains too high
Ensure room size is not too large (max 12m³), keep doors/windows closed, and turn off moisture-emitting heaters.
Error codes (E2, LO, HI, CL, CH)
E2 indicates a sensor fault; LO/HI indicate humidity out of range; CL/CH indicate temperature protection (below 5°C or above 38°C).
Before use
- Ensure the room floor area is larger than 4m².
- Check that the unit is on a level and stable surface.
- Verify that all air inlets and outlets are unobstructed.
- Empty the water tank before every use.
- Ensure all doors and windows are closed during operation.
