Fitting accessories direct to rotary tool

  1. Ensure the tool is switched OFF.
  2. Press the spindle lock button and slowly turn the collet until it engages.
  3. Retain pressure on the spindle lock button and turn the collet nut anti-clockwise to open.
  4. Insert the required bit fully into the collet.
  5. Tighten the collet nut firmly using the supplied spanner.
  6. Release the spindle lock button.

Attaching flex drive and bits

  1. Ensure the tool is switched OFF and remove the plastic collar.
  2. Press the spindle lock button and loosen the collet nut.
  3. Extract the flex drive from the centre of the shaft.
  4. Insert the flex drive into the collet and tighten with the spanner.
  5. Secure the flex drive by screwing the rotary shaft connector onto the tool.
  6. At the other end of the flex drive, insert the locking pin into the outer casing to lock the shaft, then insert the bit and tighten the collet nut.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Keep ventilation slots clean and free from obstructions. Use compressed air if available (wear safety goggles).
  • Outer Case: Wipe with a damp cloth. Do not wash with water or use solvents/abrasives.
