Operation

Boiling water: Place the kettle on the base and plug it in. Press the On/Off button to start heating to 100°C. The display will show the current temperature as it rises.

Variable temperature: Use the +/- buttons to set the desired temperature (40-90°C), then press the On/Off button. The kettle will heat to the selected temperature and turn off automatically.

Keep warm function: This feature maintains the set temperature for up to 2 hours. After boiling, the kettle will automatically activate this function if selected. Note that this function is not available for 100°C to prevent boiling dry.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always unplug the kettle and let it cool before cleaning. Use a dry or slightly damp cloth for the exterior and base. Never use abrasive cleaners or thinners.

Filter installation

Descaling: Regularly remove limescale to maintain efficiency. Use a commercially available descaler according to the package instructions. The kettle features a removable filter in the spout; rinse it under running water or clean with a soft sponge if necessary.

Troubleshooting

If the control panel does not light up, ensure there is water in the kettle, check for excessive limescale buildup, or allow the kettle to cool down if it has overheated.

Safety

Do not submerge the kettle or base in water. Do not overfill beyond the maximum mark. Always ensure the lid is closed before operation. The heating element retains residual heat after use; do not touch.
