The SOLO 211/212 series are manual pressure sprayers designed for applying various liquids, including plant protection products, fertilizers, and cleaning agents. Safety is paramount: always release pressure before opening the tank, wear appropriate protective gear (clothing, gloves, face protection), and keep bystanders at least 50 feet away. Never use liquids over 104°F (40°C).

Assembly
Follow these steps to assemble your sprayer:

- Spray Tube: Firmly screw the spray tube with the O-ring (16x3 mm) onto the shut-off valve by fastening the threaded collar. Tighten by hand only; do not use tools.
- Storage: When not in use, the spray tube can be stored in the clamp on the pump handle.
Placing in Service
Before filling or disassembling, always depressurize the unit by pulling the pressure relief valve while the sprayer is in an upright position.
- Opening: Push the pump handle down and turn it to the left (counterclockwise) until it clicks into position. Unscrew the pump.
- Filling: Fill the tank with the required liquid, ensuring you do not exceed the maximum fill mark (1 US gal for model 211; 2 US gal for model 212).
- Closing: Insert the pump and tighten it securely by turning clockwise. Secure the pump handle by turning it clockwise until it clicks into position.
Spraying and Nozzle Adjustment
To operate the sprayer:

- Pressurizing: Loosen the pump handle from the storage position. Pump the unit 10-20 times until the desired operating pressure is reached. Excessive pressure will escape automatically through the relief valve.
- Spraying: Remove the spray tube from the storage clamp. Press the shut-off valve to start spraying; release it to stop.
- Nozzle Adjustment: The nozzle can be adjusted by rotating it. Closed position produces a fine mist. Open position (max 360°) produces a coarse, narrow stream.
Cleaning, Care and Storage
Proper maintenance extends the life of your sprayer:

- After each use: Release pressure, empty the container, and rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Cleaning: To clean the nozzle, spray tube, and shut-off valve, operate the sprayer with clean water (you may add dishwashing detergent).
- Filter: Periodically clean the filter and nozzle with water and a soft brush. Never use your mouth to blow through the nozzle.
- Storage: Store the sprayer empty and dry in a frost-free location, protected from direct sunlight.
