This document provides essential installation and safety information for the Solplanet ASW 125K/261-PT Liquid-Cooled Energy Storage Cabinet. It is intended for professional use only. Always refer to the full user manual for detailed commissioning and configuration.
Safety instructions
DANGER: Battery strings produce high-voltage DC power, posing a risk of fatal electric shock. Only trained professionals should operate this equipment.
WARNING: Do not unplug connectors while the system is running. Always measure for voltage before touching terminals. Wear appropriate PPE, including insulating clothing, rubber boots, goggles, and gloves. The operating temperature range is -25°C to 55°C (optimal 18°C to 28°C).
Overview
The cabinet contains 31 key components, including the Energy Storage Converter (PCS), Lightning arresters (SPD), Liquid cooling unit, and various switches (QF, Q1, Q2, Q3). A full schematic diagram is provided in the manual to identify these parts.

Mounting and handling
Packaging disassembly: The cabinet is fixed to a bottom tray with M12*40 bolts. Use a crowbar and rubber hammer to release metal locks on the wooden box. Use a forklift (rated load 5T) for transport, ensuring the center of gravity is aligned with the forklift feet.

Crane handling: Use flexible straps capable of bearing over 4t. Ensure the hook is at the center of gravity and the swing angle is less than 10°. Ensure the front door lock is secured before moving.
Electrical installation
Power cable: Ensure all output switches are in the open state. Use copper terminals for copper core or copper-clad aluminum cables. For aluminum alloy cables, use copper-aluminum transition terminals. Recommended cable specification is 95mm² to 120mm² with M10 hole diameter. Tighten connections to 16-18 N·m.

Communication cable: Use outdoor dedicated CAT6 shielded network cables (23AWG-24AWG). Follow the 568B wiring standard for core wires. When using multiple cabinets in parallel, connect EMS hand-in-hand terminals and use a router for the main cabinet.
Grounding and fire sealing
Grounding: The cabinet must be reliably grounded. Connect the grounding hole to the field ground point using cable or galvanized flat steel. Tighten fixed screws (M10) to 14-16 N·m. Ensure resistance is less than 0.1Ω.
Fire sealing: Use flexible organic fireproof mud to seal cable penetrations and gaps. Knead the mud for 2-3 minutes before use. If the ambient temperature is below 5°C, preheat the mud in 30°C warm water. The mud must be used within 30 minutes of kneading.
Contact
For technical support, contact the Service Department with the product serial number, fault code, installation location, and warranty card. Regional contacts are available for EMEA, APAC, LATAM, Greater China, and Taiwan via the email addresses listed in the manual.

Practical help
Common problems
Check if the operating temperature is within -25°C to 55°C. Exceeding this range may cause alarms and reduce cycle life.
If ambient temperature is below 5°C, preheat the mud in 30°C warm water for 1 minute.
Ensure CAT6 shielded cables are used and the main cabinet is correctly linked to the EMS system via a router.
Before use
- Verify all output switches are in the open state.
- Ensure installation personnel have electrical equipment training.
- Check that the foundation meets the required specifications.
- Wear appropriate PPE (insulating clothing, rubber boots, gloves).
- Measure voltage at terminals before contact.
- Ensure the cabinet is reliably grounded (resistance < 0.1Ω).
