Quick Setup Guide

The Thrustmaster T248R is a racing wheel and pedal set compatible with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. Follow these steps to get started:

• Connect the pedal set to the RJ12 port on the back of the wheel base.
• Connect the power supply to the wheel base and plug it into a wall outlet.
• Connect the USB cable from the wheel base to your console or PC.
• The wheel will perform an automatic self-calibration upon startup.

Connecting to PlayStation Consoles

Ensure the wheel is connected to the console via USB. The system should recognize the device. If you need to change compatibility modes, refer to the mode selection section below.

Connecting to PC

For PC usage, you must install the necessary drivers:

• Visit the official support website at https://support.thrustmaster.com/.
• Navigate to Racing Wheels and select T248R.
• Download and install the 'My Thrustmaster Panel' software.
• Connect the wheel to your PC via USB after the driver installation is complete.

Compatibility Modes

The T248R features different compatibility modes to ensure proper functionality with your platform. To change the mode:

• Locate the 'MODE' button on the wheel.
• Select the desired mode (Mode 1, Mode 2, or PC Mode) as indicated on the wheel display.
• Your selection is saved in the wheel's internal memory. The wheel will restart and perform a self-calibration after a mode change.

Calibration and Safety

The racing wheel performs an automatic self-calibration every time it is powered on. Do not touch the wheel during this process. This product is not suitable for children under 14 years of age. Always dispose of electronic waste at designated collection points.
