Quick guide from the manual
This document provides essential operating instructions for the Timex 11D-395000-03 digital watch. It covers basic timekeeping functions, setting procedures, and maintenance for water resistance and bracelet sizing.
Operation
The watch features two main buttons: MODE (A) and RESET (B). Use the MODE (A) button to cycle through the display modes:
- Time to Date
- Date to Seconds
- Seconds back to Time
Setting
To set the time and date, follow these steps:
- Press the RESET (B) button twice to enter setting mode; the month will flash.
- Press the MODE (A) button to advance to the correct month.
- Press the RESET (B) button to confirm and move to the next setting (Day, Hour, Minutes).
- In each mode, use the MODE (A) button to advance the number.

Water and Shock Resistance
To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged. The watch is water-resistant only if the crystal, crown, and case remain intact. It is not designed for diving. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
Bracelet Adjustment
The manual provides instructions for three types of bracelets:
- Sliding Clasp: Open the locking plate, move the clasp to the desired length, and snap the plate back down.
- Foldover Clasp: Use a pointed tool to push the spring bar to disengage the bracelet, adjust to the correct hole, and lock back in place.
- Link Removal: Place the bracelet upright, use a pointed tool to push the pin out in the direction of the arrow, remove the desired number of links, and reassemble by pushing the pin back in the opposite direction until flush.
Technical Data
The watch uses an SR521SW battery. Water resistance ratings are provided for 30m, 50m, and 100m depths.
