This guide provides essential instructions for operating your Timex 11W digital watch. Key functions include time and date tracking, a 1/100 second chronograph, alarm, hourly chime, and the Indiglo night-light.
Watch Controls
The watch features four buttons:
- LIGHT (B): Activates the Indiglo night-light.
- MODE (C): Cycles through modes (Time, Chronograph, Alarm).
- START (A): Starts the chronograph or adjusts settings.
- RESET (D): Resets the chronograph or advances settings.
Setting Time and Date
- From the time screen, press the MODE (C) button three times until the seconds flash.
- Use the START (A) button to reset seconds to zero.
- Press RESET (D) to move through minutes, hours, day, month, and day of the week.
- Use the START (A) button to adjust the selected value.
- When setting hours, you will cycle through AM/PM and then H (24-hour format).
- Press MODE (C) to exit the setting mode.
Chronograph Operation
- From the time screen, press the MODE (C) button once to enter chronograph mode.
- Press START (A) to start or stop the chronograph.
- Press RESET (D) to reset the chronograph to zero.
- To use the lap function, press RESET (D) while the chronograph is running to view the lap time, then press again to return to the chronograph display.
Alarm Settings
- From the time screen, press the MODE (C) button twice until the alarm hour flashes.
- Use the START (A) button to set the desired hour.
- Press RESET (D) to move to minutes, then use START (A) to set them.
- Press MODE (C) to exit.
- Arming/Disarming: In time display mode, hold RESET (D) and press START (A) to toggle the alarm symbol on or off.
- Snooze: When the alarm sounds, press START (A) for a 5-minute snooze. Press RESET (D) to silence.
Indiglo Night-Light
Press the LIGHT (B) button to activate the backlight. The light will remain on for approximately 3 seconds after releasing the button.
Hourly Chime
In time display mode, hold the RESET (D) button and press the MODE (C) button to activate or deactivate the hourly chime function.

Common problems
Ensure the alarm symbol is visible on the display. Hold RESET (D) and press START (A) to toggle the alarm status.
During time setting, cycle through the hours until you see 'H', which indicates 24-hour format.
The Indiglo light is momentary and will turn off approximately 3 seconds after releasing the LIGHT (B) button.
