This guide provides essential instructions for operating your Timex digital watch. Familiarize yourself with the four buttons: RESET (top left), MODE (bottom left), ST/STP (top right), and INDIGLO (bottom right).
Features and Basic Operation

- Date with MM-DD format (month/day)

Setting Time and Date
- From Time of Day mode, press and hold RESET. The watch will beep and the seconds will flash.
- Press ST/STP to set seconds to zero.
- Press MODE to select the field to adjust (Hours, Minutes, Year, Month, Date).
- Press ST/STP to advance the value. Press and hold to increment quickly.
- Press RESET to exit the Time Set mode.
- To toggle between 12-Hour (A/P indicator) and 24-Hour format, press RESET.
Using the Stopwatch

- Press MODE until “SP” appears.
- Press ST/STP to start timing.
- While running, press RESET to record a Split time. The display shows the split, but the stopwatch continues in the background.
- Press RESET to release the display and show the current running time.
- Press ST/STP to pause.
- Press ST/STP to resume or RESET to reset to zero.
Setting the Alarm
- Press MODE until “AL” appears.
- Press ST/STP repeatedly to turn the Alarm or Hourly Chime on/off.
- Press RESET to set the alarm. The hour digit flashes.
- Press ST/STP to advance the hours.
- Press MODE to switch to minutes, then press ST/STP to adjust.
- Press RESET to exit.
- When the alarm sounds, press any button to silence it.
Setting Dual Time
- Press MODE until “T2” appears.
- Press RESET. The hours will flash.
- Press ST/STP to advance the hours.
- Press MODE to set minutes. Press ST/STP to toggle between the same minute setting as T1 or a 30-minute difference.
- Press RESET to exit.
Indiglo Night-Light
Press the INDIGLO button to illuminate the watch display for 2-3 seconds. This uses electroluminescent technology to light the watch face in low-light conditions.
Water and Shock Resistance
If your watch is water-resistant, the depth is indicated on the caseback. WARNING: To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons while underwater. The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
Battery Information
The watch battery is not intended to be replaced by the consumer. Only a jeweler or other professional should replace the battery.

Common problems
Ensure the alarm is turned on (check for the alarm icon) and that the time is set correctly for the primary time zone (T1).
Do not press any buttons while the watch is underwater. Ensure the lens, buttons, and case remain intact.
