This document provides essential operating instructions for your Timex digital watch. Please note that your specific model may not include all features described. The watch features a daily alarm, 24-hour stopwatch, second time zone, and INDIGLO night-light.
Time and Date Settings
To set the time and date:
- With the time and date displayed, press and hold SET for 2 seconds.
- The seconds will flash; press START/STOP to reset to zero.
- Press MODE to cycle through hours, minutes, year, month, and date.
- Use START/STOP to adjust the values. Press and hold START/STOP for rapid advancement.
- Press SET at any step to save and exit.
- Press SET in time mode to toggle between 12-hour and 24-hour formats.
Alarm and Chime
To set the daily alarm:
- Press MODE repeatedly until AL appears.
- Press SET, then use START/STOP to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE, then use START/STOP to adjust the minutes.
- Press SET to finish.
- Press START/STOP repeatedly to toggle alarm and hourly chime combinations. The alarm icon (s) indicates the alarm is on; the chime icon (b) indicates the hourly chime is active.
Stopwatch
- Press MODE repeatedly until SP appears.
- Press START/STOP to start or stop the stopwatch.
- Press SET to reset the stopwatch to zero.
- While running, press SET to take a lap/split time. The display freezes while the stopwatch continues to run. Press SET again to return to the running display.
Second Time Zone
- Press MODE repeatedly until T2 appears.
- Press SET, then use START/STOP to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE, then use START/STOP to adjust the minutes in 30-minute increments.
- Press SET to finish.
INDIGLO Night-Light
Press the INDIGLO button to illuminate the watch display for 2-3 seconds.
Water and Shock Resistance
WARNING: To maintain water resistance, do not press any buttons while underwater.
- The watch is water-resistant only as long as the lens, push buttons, and case remain intact.
- Rinse the watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.
- The watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.
Battery
The watch button cell or coin battery is not intended to be replaced by the consumer. Only a jeweler or other professional should replace the battery.

Common problems
Press START/STOP repeatedly in the alarm mode to cycle through the four combinations of alarm and chime settings to ensure they are enabled.
