Setting Time and Date

  1. Press MODE until the seconds are flashing.
  2. Press ST/STP/ALM to set seconds to zero.
  3. Press RESET/NEXT to cycle through settings: Hours, Minutes, Month, Day, and Day of the Week.
  4. Use ST/STP/ALM to advance the value for each setting. Press and hold to increment quickly.
  5. Press MODE to exit the time setting mode.

Note: As hours are incremented, the indicator changes from A (AM) to P (PM) to H (24-hour time).

Using the Stopwatch

  1. Press MODE until 'ST' appears.
  2. Press ST/STP/ALM to start timing.
  3. Press RESET/NEXT to record a split time while the stopwatch continues running in the background.
  4. Press RESET/NEXT again to release the display and show the current running time.
  5. Press ST/STP/ALM to pause the timing.
  6. Press ST/STP/ALM to resume or RESET/NEXT to reset to zero.

Alarm and Chime

  1. Press MODE until 'AL' appears.
  2. Press ST/STP/ALM repeatedly to toggle the Alarm (ALM) or Hourly Chime (CHI/SIG) on or off.
  3. To set the alarm, press RESET/NEXT. The hour digit will flash.
  4. Use ST/STP/ALM to set the hour and minutes.
  5. Press RESET/NEXT to exit alarm setting mode.

When the alarm sounds, press ST/STP/ALM or RESET/NEXT to stop it, or press MODE to snooze for 5 minutes.

INDIGLO Night-Light

Press the INDIGLO button to illuminate the watch display for 2-3 seconds. This feature uses electroluminescent technology for low-light visibility.

Water and Shock Resistance

If your watch is water-resistant, the depth rating or a water symbol is indicated on the caseback or dial. Warning: Do not press any buttons while underwater to maintain water resistance. The watch is not designed for diving. Rinse with fresh water after exposure to salt water.

Battery Maintenance

Timex recommends having the battery replaced by a retailer or jeweler. The battery type is indicated on the caseback. Do not dispose of the battery in fire, do not recharge, and keep away from children.
