The Tommee Tippee 1094S is a digital video monitor with a movement sensor pad. Before first use, charge the parent unit for 10 hours. Ensure the baby unit is positioned 1 to 1.5 meters away from the baby's cot. Always test the sensor pad and alarm functionality before relying on the system. Note that this device is not a medical device and is not intended to prevent SIDS.
Device Overview
The system consists of a Baby Unit (BU) and a Parent Unit (PU). The Baby Unit features a camera, nightlight, temperature detector, and sensor pad input. The Parent Unit includes an LCD screen, zoom, talkback, and menu navigation buttons.

Setup and Charging
Parent Unit: Supplied with a rechargeable battery pack. Insert the battery pack, plug in the mains adaptor, and charge for 10 hours before first use. Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.

Baby Unit: Can be powered by the mains adaptor or 4 x AA alkaline batteries (not supplied). There is no charging function on the baby unit. If using batteries, ensure they are inserted with correct polarity.
Movement Sensor Pad
The sensor pad monitors baby's movements. It is designed for use in a cot with a flat, firm base. It should not be used in a travel cot, swinging crib, or with a foam-free mattress.
Installation: Place the pad between the cot mattress and the cot base, directly under the sleeping area. Ensure the connecting cord is fed through the base of the cot, out of the baby's reach, and plugged fully into the baby unit.
Testing: Turn the sensor pad switch to ON. Test by touching the mattress gently. If the alarm sounds after 20 seconds of no movement, the system is working. If the alarm does not sound, check connections or increase sensitivity.
Settings and Features
Sensitivity: Adjust the microphone sensitivity (Levels 1-5) via the menu. Level 5 is the most sensitive.
Nightlight: Controlled via the baby unit button or the parent unit menu. Brightness levels are Low, Medium, and High.
Talkback: Press and hold the TALK button on the parent unit to speak to the baby. The baby unit audio is muted during this time.
Zoom: Press the ZOOM button in monitoring mode to view the baby closer.
Temperature: The baby unit monitors room temperature. You can set the format to Celsius or Fahrenheit.
Troubleshooting
If the link light flashes, the units may be out of range; reduce the distance but keep them at least 1.5 meters apart. If you hear a high-pitched noise, the units are too close together. If the parent unit beeps, the connection may be lost or the battery is low. If the sensor pad triggers false alarms, check connections or decrease sensitivity.
Safety Information
Strangulation Hazard: Keep all cords out of reach of children (at least 1 meter away from the cot). Never place the baby unit inside or attached to the cot. Ensure cords are taut and not dangling.
