Installation instructions
Follow these steps to install the fixture:
- Preparation: Remove gaskets and knob nuts from the back plate and set them aside.
- Mounting: Pass supply wires from the outlet box through the mounting plate. Secure the mounting plate to the outlet box using the provided mounting screws.
- Wiring: Connect the wires according to the wiring chart. Twist wires together with plastic wire connectors, wrap with electrical tape, and tuck them into the outlet box.
- Final Assembly: Align the back plate with the pre-assembled mounting screws. Attach the back plate to the mounting plate using the previously removed gaskets and knob nuts. Hand tighten until snug.
- Bulb Installation: Install the bulb (not included), ensuring it does not exceed the maximum recommended wattage.
Wiring
Connect the ground wires and supply wires carefully. The ground wire is bare copper; never connect other wires to the ground wire. Use the provided plastic wire connectors to join wires securely. Ensure no wire strands are exposed after connection.
Cleaning and maintenance
To clean the fixture, wipe it with a soft cloth. Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner for the glass. Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads, powders, steel wool, or abrasive paper. Always turn off or unplug the lamp and allow it to cool before replacing bulbs.

Common problems
Back plate is not snug against the wall
Remove the back plate and adjust the threaded length of the pre-assembled mounting screws on the mounting plate by unscrewing the hex nuts, then screwing the mounting screws in or out until the secure length is achieved.
Bulb replacement safety
Turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it is cool before replacing the bulb, as bulbs get hot quickly.
Before use
- Turn off the main power at the fuse or circuit breaker box.
- Ensure the wall switch is in the OFF position.
- Verify the mounting surface is clean, dry, flat, and at least 1/4 inch larger than the canopy.
- Confirm the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp.
